TEHRAN-- Visiting the museums, heritage sites, and historical sites under the Ministry of Cultural Heritage is free for families with three or more children and pregnant women accompanied by one person, the deputy minister of cultural heritage has said.

According to ILNA, Ali Darabi pointed out that in line with implementation of policies for supporting the family, which started as of August 25, 2025, visits to all museums, heritage sites, and cultural and historical sites under the auspices of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts is free for families with three or more children, as well as pregnant women with one companion. 

He said that according to this notification, eligible families can benefit from this possibility without any time limit. Also, managers of museums and cultural and historical complexes are required to provide the necessary facilities, including special routes, easy scheduling, and facilitating services for large families and pregnant women, he added.

Emphasizing that this measure is part of the cultural and social responsibility of the ministry, he said that increasing the population is a national mission, and the culture sector is at the forefront of supporting the families. 

The implementation of this plan will be a practical step towards wider participation of families in benefiting from the country's valuable heritage, he added.
